What Are Number Names?
Numbers have special names we use when counting and talking about
them!
Just like you have a name, each number from 1 to 20 has its own special name. Learning these names helps
us count, share, and understand how many things we have.

Parent Tips 🌟
- Count everything: Count stairs as you climb, cookies on a plate, or toys when cleaning up. Say the number names out loud together.
- Play number games: "I spy something we have two of" or "Find me three red things" helps reinforce number names naturally.
- Use number rhymes: Songs like "Five Little Ducks" or "Ten in the Bed" make learning number names fun and memorable.
